Louis Vuitton never fails to make an impact, even when they have only a small box to work with…

The striking, surreal design of the pop up located in Shanghai Hongqiao Airport, should stop anyone in their tracks. Bravo!

‘This dazzling pop up, which replaces an earlier temporary boutique at Hongqiao Airport, will remain in place until a permanent Louis Vuitton store opens.

As reported, Louis Vuitton plans to have five airport stores open in Mainland China by the end of 2022, including its existing stores at Beijing Capital International (it also opened in the domestic zone at the new Beijing Daxing International Airport in 2019) and Shanghai Hongqiao. The brand is also set to open a spectacular new duplex store at Hong Kong International Airport.

“This store, when you link it with the original creations in Daxing and at Hong Kong International Airport, reinforces the brand’s heritage in – and commitment to – travel,” a Louis Vuitton spokesperson told The Moodie Davitt Report. “It is beautiful, especially for a temporary store.”

Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport management are delighted to welcome Louis Vuitton to the Terminal 2 retail mix. The temporary store will be replaced by a permanent boutique in due course.
